This is more information about it:
In short, Bloggiesta is a blogging
marathon revolving around ticking off those items on your to-do list and
improving your blog while in the good company of other awesome bloggers
doing the same thing. Our awesome mascot Pedro (Plan. Edit. Develop.
Review. Organize) is ready to break out the nachos, enchiladas, drinks,
mariachi music and whack a pinata or two! It’s nothing short of an
awesome fiesta!
Bloggiesta was originally started in June of 2009 by the lovely and tenacious Natasha from Maw Books Blog. In March of 2012 Natasha graciously passed the torch on to Suey from It’s All About Books and Danielle from There’s A Book.
After hosting this fantastic event during both March and September of
2012 it was decided that Bloggiesta needed it’s own home, which is the
site you’re now visiting.
Anyway, after reading through all of that, I was like "This is totally for me. Hec yah, I'm going to participate." One little problem on my account is that I have a personal obligation to attend from 3pm-11pm on the 25th, so I may not be able to participate in things full swing (like the twitter chat which is of course right when I won't be able to participate), but I will definitely try my hardest.
My To Do List:
- Write and schedule 3+ blog tour reviews
- Write reviews for all my "to review" ones
- Write and schedule 3+ posts that aren't reviews
- Update my blog archive
- Update Goodreads reviews
- Update Amazon reviews
- Re-organize my blog layout
- Re-organize my sidebar
- Comment on 15+ Bloggiesta participants posts
- Do 2+ mini challenges
- Actually accomplish the goals on my Bloggiesta list
